I came across this link giving 10 tip to reduce stress at your work. The first tip made me scoff:
Think back through your life, what is the happiest moment in your life. … Take that photo and put it on your desk to remind you of those happy times as this will be one of the tools you need to beat stress in your office.
If you are so miserable at your job that you need a picture to remind yourself that you were once happy, it’s time to find a new damned job.
It’s really sad to think that some people feel that they have no choice but to be miserable from 8-5 every day for the rest of their lives. That to expect anything but misery and dread on Sunday night is asking too much. Decades of being miserable for the sake of security is not my idea of security.
